The Challenge: Diversity and inclusion at an organizational level

Merkur Andelskasse has a central goal: to create a workplace characterized by diversity, equity, and inclusion.

They wanted to build an attractive workplace that could attract new talent, while also ensuring happier and more engaged employees. Employees should feel that everyone is treated fairly, regardless of gender, age, ethnic background, sexual orientation, or other differences.

  • 100% of employees felt they were treated fairly regardless of differences, with a maximum score of 4.0 (Excellent)

  • 80% of employees gave a score of 4 for respectful communication, while 20% scored 3, resulting in an overall score of 3.8 out of 4.0

  • 90% of employees agreed that Merkur is a diverse workplace, with an overall score of 3.7

Merkur’s first wellbeing survey with Woba in 2021 had an overall score of 3.0. The following year (2022) the score rose to 3.4 – a 13.33% increase in wellbeing in just one year with Woba’s support.
